Overview
ATHENA Guard is an AI/ML extension for USU Service Management (USM). ATHENA Guard allows you to supplement the systems and assets in the CMDB with vulnerability-relevant information. Using AI/ML support, existing vulnerabilities in the CMDB are then identified and can be remediated.
Improve the CMDB
ATHENA Guard supplements systems and components with relevant additional information such as operating systems, versions, and standardized CPE (Common Platform Enumeration) descriptions.
Integrate LLMs
ATHENA Guard has an interface to the LLMs (Large Language Models) in Amazon Web Services. The world's leading models from Cohere, Antropic, and Mistral (a European provider) are available here.
Find CVEs
ATHENA Guard can use LLM support to appropriately attach previously analyzed vulnerabilities (CVEs - Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) to the CMDB elements – and, most importantly, can also generate suggestions for vulnerabilities that are already known but have not yet been analyzed.
Manage
Using the GRC Manager, these vulnerabilities can then be linked to the CMDB services and integrated into risks using the Service Risk Manager.
